Welcome to the new look!

We’re back! We’ve been busy, but it’s good to finally have the new site here and ready to show off to everyone. Before I get into more detail about the changes, we’d like to thank Antoine Blackler from ToneDark and BigRedWeb for his excellent work on the redesign, and for DearDesignDucky for the fantastic logo. Okay, here we go!

On the new site, you’ll find regular updates about tabletop RPGs, boardgames, movies, music, crafting, and a host of nerdy topics under the News & Blog section. After all, that’s why we started this blog, and it remains a great way to keep up to date with everything we’re obsessing about. This is also where you’ll find our two ongoing series – The Adventures of Grogg Hammerfist, a series of short stories penned by GayGrimalkin, and Getting Started as a GM, ZwodderZA’s guide to running tabletop RPGs if you’ve never done it before.

We significantly updated our About section, so you can find out more about us and what we’re trying to achieve with this blog. We’ve added the Community section to make it easier for you to connect with other nerdy communities. Whether that means reading articles about people or organisations who are doing cool things, or updates about local events, or where to find us on various platforms. We’ve also added an Events Calendar, listing the (mostly online) events we have planned for this year, including scheduled blog posts, Twitch streams, and online RPG sessions.

Check out the Commercial section if you ever want to buy some cool, nerdy things, or support cool, independent people who make nerdy things. We’ve listed creators and their storefronts under Stores and specific products we can recomment under Products. You can also hire us to write or edit RPG material and stories, or run an RPG session. While you’re there, you can download “Steal That Shuttle!”, ZwodderZA’s Star Trek-flavoured hack of “The Shuttle Game”, which is one of 30 heists includied in The Roleplayer’s Guide to Heists.

Finally, if you like what we do, you can also buy us a Ko-Fi! Every bit helps, and we really appreciate your support. Otherwise, subscribe to the site or follow any of the links on the Contact Us page to get in touch. We can’t wait to hear from you.
